What are some gym bag essentials?

Imagine you just got to the gym and are excited to work out, but you pull up to the gym and realize you left your headphones. To me, headphones are staples because I need my music to keep me motivated with each set and rep. There are many other gym essentials besides headphones you require in your gym bag, and here’s a list.

Gym Bag: You need a gym bag to carry your gym equipment. My favorite gym bag is my Wolfpak backpack.

Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is the most critical essential. Find a water bottle and stay hydrated. I recommend a filtered water bottle if you prefer to avoid drinking straight from the tap.

Headphones: Music helps me focus, so having a good pair of headphones is necessary.

Toiletry Bag: If you’re a female, you know, like I do, keeping pads and tampons on you at all times is mandatory.

Deodorant: If you don’t wear deodorant…you shouldn’t be at the gym. It is essential not just for the gym but for everyday life. 

Snacks: When you don’t have time to eat before working out and need quick carbs. 

  • Pretzels
  • Sour belts
  • Protein bar

Spare Clothing: you never know when you might have an accident. 

  • Workout leggings

Lock: You’ll need something to keep your personal belongings safe while you are working out.
